Founded by Rhea Rouw, a seasoned radio veteran with 28 years of experience, YIR emerged from her vision to combine her broadcast expertise with a passion for the yachting industry. However, after launching, Rhea quickly discovered that radio, while a beloved medium, wasn't enough to captivate today’s audience. Recognizing the growing dominance of video, podcasts, and interactive content, Rhea pivoted to create a multimedia platform that would meet the diverse preferences of the modern listener.
